Abstract

Small Scale Industries (SSIs) play a crucial role in economic development, particularly in semi-urban districts like Ajmer. This research critically analyzes entrepreneurs operating small scale industries in Ajmer District. The study examines socio-economic background, motivational factors, financial accessibility, marketing practices, technological adoption, managerial efficiency, and performance outcomes. Findings indicate that while entrepreneurial determination was strong, growth was limited by financial constraints, lack of modern technology, and inadequate marketing support.
