The Study of Teachers’ Self-Efficacy, Job Satisfaction, Life Satisfaction and Burnout

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the relationship between the self-efficacy, job satisfactions, life satisfactions and burnout of teachers. Moreover, it was also studied that whether their level of selfefficacy, job satisfactions, life satisfaction and burnout differentiate according to some demographic variables. The sample of research consists of 349 class and branch teachers; %33,5 (n= 117)
participants are men and % 66.5 (n= 232) participants are women. Result indicated that self-efficacy (efficacy for student engagement, efficacy for instructional strategies, the efficacy for class management) has statistically significant positive relationship with teachers’ job and life satisfactions, and has a negative relationship with their burnout. Moreover, some differences in teachers’ selfefficacy, job and life satisfaction, burnout were determined according to some demographic variables.
