Analysis of Emotional Intelligence Job Satisfaction and Burnout Levels of Preschool Teachers According to Some Variables

This study is conducted to determine whether emotional intelligence levels of preschool teachers differ according to age, education level and participation to social activities number of in-service trainings participated. The research is implemented with 378 preschool teachers working in public and private preschool educational institutions in 13 cities in Central Anatolia Region. In the study, a ‘Personal Information Form’ is used to obtain socio-demographic information (age, education level, participation to social activities and number of in-service trainings participated) about preschool teachers; ‘Bar-on Emotional Intelligence Scale’, ‘Hackman and Oldham Job Satisfaction Scale’, and ‘Maslach Burnout Inventory’ are used to determine teachers’ emotional intelligence abilities, job satisfaction and burnout levels.
