An examination of the relationship between teachers’ organizational hypocrisy and organizational justice perceptions

Abstract

In this research, it is aimed to determine the relationship between teachers’ perceptions of organizational hypocrisy and organizational justice. 249 teachers, who are serving in secondary schools in Trabzon province and towns, participated in this research which is done within the scope of correlation research, one of the relational scanning approaches. “Personal and Professional Information Form”, “Organizational Hypocrisy Scale” and “Organizational Justice Scale” are used in this research to gather demographic information of teachers. While analyzing the data, t-Test, One Way Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA), Kruskal Wallis H-Test, correlation and regression analysis are used. According to the result of the research, there is a highly significant relationship in negative way between organizational hypocrisy perceptions and organizational justice perceptions. When the dimensions of organizational hypocrisy and organizational justice are examined, it can be seen that there is a high level relationship with keeping promise and medium level significant relationship in negative way with the harmony between environment and microstructure, and dimensions of practical repugnance. Besides, organizational hypocrisy is a significant regression of organizational justice.
