Utilizing a study habits scale for testing the academic success of fourth year/grade primary school students

This study examined whether the study habits of fourth year primary school students had an
effect on their success in Mathematics, Turkish, Social Sciences, English, Computer, Fine Arts, and Religion,
Culture & Moral Studies lessons. The model used for the research was relational scanning. The population of
the study was 478 fourth year primary school students. The results of this research showed that study habits
accounted for the success of the students as follows: about 11 % for Mathematics and Turkish; 11 % for
Social Sciences; 14 % for English; 0,26 % for Computers; 11 % for Religion, Culture & Moral Studies; and 0,
48 % for Fine Arts.
