Study of Adjustment among Adolescents of Different Type of Schools in respect of Use of Defense Mechanism

Abstract

Today the nature of adolescent problems varies with social and living conditions. The possibilities of frustration increase with maturity, the expansion of the needs and requirements of adolescents. The major source of frustration is cultural demands, the home situations, the social class status and the school. These sources do not operate separately. It is the combined influence of these and other forces in the adolescent's environment that operate to produce a well-adjusted or poorly adjusted adolescent. The success of adolescent partly depends upon what his environment has to offer
