Abstract

We conducted a qualitative study to investigate how modern high school students define success and in what circumstances they feel most successful. Investigating How Students Understand and Use Visual Art and Illustration Terms in Their Written Work Visual art presents a nuanced stimulation. We create a generalizable model for the perception and assessment of visual art, drawing on the premise that the interaction of emotion and cognition produced by a stimulus drives judgments.
