Abstract

The Baigas are a large and diverse people group found in the Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh. The Baiga are reported to practice nomadic agriculture in the depths of the jungle. They believe that tilling the land causes damage. If we till the soil, we'll be hurting our
mother. And they are against ploughing the land because they care about the environment and don't want to ruin it. Furthermore, if we continue to compel Mother Earth to produce food from the same piece of land over and over again, she will lose her fertility and become emaciated. This ethnic group's food is very traditional and has little in common with modern tastes. Since the great majority of them are illiterate, an oral interview schedule was created to collect the data we need from them. Interviews and direct observation have been used to cover all the bases in this comprehensive investigation. Researchers here employed the technique of systematic random sampling.
