Narrative Approaches In Indian Contemporary Painting

Abstract

In this research, an analytical strategy was given the greatest weight above a descriptive one. It includes all the necessary components that made it possible to carry out the research. It also includes going to museums, libraries, galleries, and talks with relevant artists. This research examines the narrative works of a wide range of artists who have explored the narrative genre in their own unique ways
and via a wide variety of media. Beginning with some of the earliest known examples, such as those at Altamira and Lascaux in France and Spain and the world-famous Ajanta mural, the research embraced the time period beginning with the Bagh caves and continuing forward. They put out their ideas in works like "Know me! Familiar with my family history, my phobias, the things I've read, seen,
and heard, the art of storytelling has deep roots in Indian culture, and modern Indian artists continue to find inspiration in the need to tell a story.
