Perspectives of Students and Faculty members towards Plagiarism and Academic Integrity

Abstract

- The proposed work focuses on viewpoints of student and faculty members about the plagiarism tools and academic integrity. This paper helps to understand on plagiarism and it promotes the academic integrity among the colleges. Most of the engineering colleges have awareness on the plagiarism and the types of tools. But, the students and faculty members of Arts and Science will not have that much awareness on academic integrity toward plagiarism. In this case, most of them are not known on plagiarism and some of them are having little bit idea about plagiarism. So, this paper planned to take a review on academic integrity and plagiarism among the faculty members and students from the various colleges and this study also highlight on the responsibility of every faculty members and students of the colleges.
