Abstract

The study aims to investigate teachers’ perception and practices regarding learning difficulties at elementary level. Quasi experimental research design was used for the study. Elementary school teachers in district Khushab were considered the population of this study. Multi stage sampling technique was used to select the sample. At stage one convenient sampling technique was used to select Urban and Rural Schools.At stage two male and female schools were also selected through convenient sampling technique.At stage three intact groups of teachers teaching at elementary level were taken to conduct experiment. The result of the study revealed that the teachers had insufficient awareness regarding students learning difficulties but was enhanced after session. They believe that the students are facing much difficulties in psychomotor domain like reading, writing, memorizing spellings due to the minor learning difficulties like dyslexia, dyspraxia and autism.
