Abstract

Man –environmental relationship is closely related to human adaptive skill or adaptive strategies. These strategies vary because of the variation of environmental factors. We observe a variety of human adaptive strategies, associated with environmental factors and
socioeconomic system, varies from hunting gathering to herding to farming. This study reflects, critical analysis on socio-economic situation of the coastal community engaged in fishing and related activities.
