Abstract

A key concern of quality assurance arrangement in technical vocational education and training is to generate trust and enhancing skills acquisition, promoting self-employment and technological development of a nation. It becomes vital that quality assurance remained the front burner for planning a systematic process that provides confidence in services provided by the technical vocational education and training. A literature review procedure was conducted upon a published paper between 2015 and 2020 in outstanding journals. This study contributes to the literature on quality assurance in technical vocational education and training. The operationalize
concepts input-process-output tripod was assessed for continuous quality assurance improvement in technical vocational education and training programmes. Also, the target would be achieved through the key quality assurance stakeholders’ engagement in technical vocational education and training compatible with technical vocational education and training mission and set objectives. Factors that hinder the realisation of quality assurance in technical vocational education and training and approaches for the realisation of quality assurance in technical vocational education and training were identified and discussed.
