Abstract

In recent years, corporate managers have struggled with the issue of the corporation’s
responsibility to its society. The managers of corporations have to be responsive to an elasticlist of
stakeholders. This study specifically aim to analysis the government agencies’perception and support to
corporate in implementing the corporate social responsibility. This study included in the type of
qualitative research, and the research strategy used in this study was a case study. The data collection
techniques in case study research utilized the techniques of in-depth interview, observation, and
document analysis. Triangulation’s data validation is needed to ensure the stability and correctness of
data that has been collected and recorded. Qualitative research places more emphasis on inductive
analysis, namely data reduction, displaying data, and drawing verification. The findings show that the
government agencies assumethat CSR is one of the crucial programs for the company. It implicitly shows
the view that in implementing CSR programs, there is a need for participation or synergy from relevant
stakeholders. And, the primary support provided by the community for community empowerment
activities is in the form of highly active participation in various activities implemented by the company.
