For A Specialized Didactics Of Literary Discourse In French In Algerian Higher Education

Abstract

The didactic operation of FLE at the Algerian university continues to develop and diversify in terms of teaching practices and taught content. In addition, knowing French as a foreign language was no longer enough to master it in various circumstances or in all types of speech; technical, linguistic…or literary. The need to place the language in a literary context remains a priority in order to facilitate privileged access to specialized discourse by its genre, its terms, its lexicon or specialized syntax. Whatever the strategy used to teach literary discourse, the language teacher should consider the subject within and according to its condition of production and its discursive dimension. In this context, our present research focuses on the study of the form and function of literary discourse taught in a university context.
