Gamification For Pronunciation: How To Energize Learning?
Abstract
Pronunciation is an essential skill in learning foreign languages; however, it is perceived as one of the main challenges for FLE learners in Algeria. These learners face difficulties related to the influence of the Arabic phonetic system and a lack of practical activities. This article explores gamification as an alternative to improve pronunciation learning. By incorporating playful elements, this approach aims to enhance motivation and engagement while addressing the specific needs of learners. The presentation of difficulties, the theoretical framework of gamification, and adapted activities constitute the main axes of this research.
