Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate preschool candidates’ attitudes towards computers and attitudes towards use of computer assisted instruction. The sample of this study includes 481 early childhood education students who attended Dokuz Eylül University’s department of Early Childhood Education. Data were collected by using “Scale of Computer Assisted Instruction Attitudes” developed by the Arslan (2006), “Computer Attitudes Scale” developed by Çelik & Bindak (2005) and “General Information Form” by the
authors. One-way Anova and t-test was used for analyzing data. The findings of this study showed that computer attitudes and computer assisted instruction attitudes are positive. Furthermore computer assisted instructio attitudes are related to computer attitudes on pozitive way.
