reason a pattern of an experimental pre-test- final-test control group was used. In the research, cognitive,
affective, and psychomotor behaviors of the unit were evaluated by measuring them separately. In order to
analyze the collected data, frequency, percentage, arithmetic means, for the complicated measurements ANOVA
with two-factors, Mann Whitney U and student statistical analytical techniques were used. For the statistical
significance level .05 significance level was chosen. In the research it was found that the teaching model based
on multiple intelligence theory was much more effective than the conventional teaching methods in teaching
cognitive behaviors for the unit ‘’Rhytm, Melody and Measure in Music’’, in teaching psychomotor behaviors it
was found to be affective partially and for the affective behaviors it was not found to be more affective
