Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the problems of the –skilled children who have started
active learning since they were four and unskilled children who have been exposed to active learning since they
were six and to show what they do to overcome the problems they have encountered. The groups were skilled
childrens - experienced teachers (n=33), unskilled childrens - experienced teachers (n=22) and unskilled childrensnovice teachers (n=46). When the problems of the children in group studies were analysed, the fear of making
mistakes is most frequently seen in the group of novice teachers-unskilled children (8 %). The children in the
novice teachers-unskilled children had more noise (14.5 %), more quarreling and resentment (17.7 %), more
difficulties in making up their minds (12.9 %), more problems in sharing the materials (11.2 %).
