Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the perceptions of pre-service teachers about the use of digital videos for procedural tasks. Descriptive research was used in this study and 55 third grade university students attending the Multimedia Design and Development course participated in this study. The students developed fifteen digital videos for different procedural tasks as groups. Data were collected through a scale which was developed in reference to technology acceptance model.Descriptive statistics and a linear multiple regressions were used to analyze the data. In conclusion, most of the students found digital videos useful for procedural tasks. In addition, perceived usefulness and task technology fit were found as the two independent variables that can predict behavioral intention to use.
